Behind-The-Scenes

After I draw the characters on paper first, I would then scan them and send them to my own personal email, to then download and open them in Adobe Photoshop to do character clean-ups. That is what I'm doing in this photo.

Here I do some animating with some paper character cutouts!​

Here I perform character clean-ups in Adobe Photoshop, going over any rough lines with a stylus to smooth them out.

These are some prototype character puppets I made for test out movement. The arms are separate from the body, so that I can

In this photo I am drawing characters on paper, using a light tablet to see through each frame, or piece of paper, to draw a smooth movement.

For some character cutouts, I would draw the head and body as one layer, and then the arms as another layer, so that I can move those separately when animating.
